Happy Halloween 2016 from my sweet, darling little honeybees. I picked this outfit out for Izzie last Halloween on clearance knowing that I had this old costume of Izzie's that I loved and wanted Levi to wear. I tried to make it sound fancy and exciting (for this gown loving girl). "Izzie, ready to see your costume? It's a ... princess fairy honeybee!" To which my girl responded, "Umm, you mean a queen bee?" Haha! She's so much smarter than me.
We had a great week! Izzie dressed up and attended the kids carnival at church on Wednesday, we hit Boo at the Zoo with the Van Pelts on Thursday, and then we went trick or treating in the Meyers neighborhood on Saturday (after visiting grandparents in these outfits, obviously!). Big success. Izzie didn't collect leaves this year, but the first thing she asked to eat after leaving Boo at the Zoo was an apple. What a silly bear. Don't worry too much...she loved the candy, too!
